Our Story

Paulina and Ben Weintraub are first-generation lavender farmers, and proud of it. We came to farming not through tradition but through intention, drawn to lavender by its proven wellness benefits, its compatibility with the land we love, and its fit with the lives we already lead as Registered Nurses in the Critical Care Unit and Emergency Department at our local hospital. We understand the toll that stress takes on the human body. Lavender is our answer to that, grown and made by hand, for people who want something real.

Where We Live

We are world travelers. We have explored many states across the US, journeyed through Central and South America, and visited numerous countries throughout Europe. Every place has its own beauty and character. And yet we keep coming back to the same conclusion: we live in the best place in the world. We are minutes from mountains, rivers, scenic hikes, and the Pacific Ocean, in a region where the temperatures allow for outdoor life year round. The Willamette Valley is not just where we farm. It is home.

Our Farm

Lacomb Lavender Farm sits on 29 acres of beautiful property in the Mid-Willamette Valley. We currently grow 1,500 lavender plants across five varieties: Grosso, Royal Purple, Folgate, Hidcote Blue, and Munstead. Each variety was chosen for its unique character, oil quality, and beauty. Every plant is hand-cut at harvest, never treated with pesticides, herbicides, or insecticides, and distilled right here on the property. What grows here is what goes into every product we make.

Our Commitment

Eco-conscious practices are not an afterthought for us. We use recycled and recyclable materials, minimize plastic wherever possible, and source ingredients locally whenever we can. We encourage our customers to reuse their product containers, and if that is not possible, we will gladly take packaging back and either reuse it or make sure it is properly disposed of. We believe small decisions add up, and we try to make the right ones at every step.

Why Lavender

Lavender is a hardy flowering plant celebrated for its fragrant scent and wide range of uses, from skincare to stress relief. Used for centuries across cultures, it is one of the most studied and trusted plants in wellness, known for its calming properties, its ability to support restful sleep, its gentle effectiveness on skin, and its natural relief of everyday tension and stress. As nurses, we didn't choose lavender by accident. We chose it because the science backs it up and because we have seen firsthand what chronic stress does to the body over time.

But not all lavender is the same. Quality starts in the soil, in the growing practices, and in how the plant is handled from cut to bottle. Commercially sourced lavender often travels through multiple hands before it reaches you, losing potency and traceability along the way.

Our Lavender

We grow three varieties on our family farm in Oregon's Willamette Valley: Grosso, Royal Purple, and Folgate. Each was chosen for its unique character and oil quality. Our 1,500 plants are hand-cut each season, never sprayed with pesticides, herbicides, or insecticides, and distilled right here on our property using a mobile distiller. The essential oil and hydrosol in every product we make comes exclusively from our own harvest. There are no outside suppliers, no blended oils, no mystery ingredients. What we grow is what you get.

The Willamette Valley is one of the most fertile and ecologically rich agricultural regions in the country. Our lavender thrives here without irrigation, even through dry summers, supported by the same land, climate, and native pollinators that have made this region a cornerstone of Pacific Northwest agriculture for generations.

From Our Farm to You

We are a small team. Three family members, one piece of land, and a shared belief that what goes on your body should be something you can trace back to its source. Every product we make is small-batch, seasonal, and built around the integrity of what we grow. You can feel the difference.

We are glad you found us. If you have any questions,  send us an email at LacombLavenderFarm@gmail.com. We would love to hear from you.

All products sold are vegan and cruelty-free.
